Edzai Kasinauyo, who recently took a career in sports marketing, told Radio VOP that he had filed in his application and is looking forward to becoming a publisher.

I have applied for a licence to publish a sports paper and I am only now waiting for the response, said an excited Kasinauyo, who has made a financial fortune plying his trade in South African premiership mainly with the Johannesburg-based Moroka Swallows.

Kasinauyo already runs Tamba Sports Marketing together with Peter Ndlovu.

I want it to be a weekly paper and I am confident that it will work well in Zimbabwe because soccer is big business, said Kasinauyo.

The former Dube Birds (as Moroka Swallows is affectionately known here) winger says there is abundant opportunities for Zimbabweans in the business of publishing.

However, the Chitungwiza born businessman did not reveal how and from where he will be running his business although he is still based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
