On Friday WEZIMBABWE will be hosting an event to bring together anyone interested in doing business or working in Southern Africa. we have put together a great line-up of speakers that will cover a range of topics that are intended to provide some insight into the opportunities in the region that exist now and importantly after the euphoria of the World cup in 2010. We will also at this point know who the next UK government will be so this event will be an ideal opportunity to discuss the results and how this will affect Southern Africans based in the UK
Why business?
Business is not a traditional area of focus for WEZIMBABWE but it does not take a genius to realise that progress and the elevation of poverty in the region are dependent upon amongst other things an increase in investment into the region and the reversal of the brain drain that has been experienced the past 10 years. The question is can this be achieved?
Our speakers will hopefully provide insights that will help you answer these questions. Speakers include;

UK based financial advisors and Fund Management Company will be presenting on Financial Planning for individuals and investors as well as Investment and Fund Management. The company focuses on providing innovative solutions and has a major focus on Southern Africa and professionals from the region based in the UK to help them realise growth in their wealth here and advice on making the right decisions in investing in Southern Africa.
The Global Career Company
Global Career Company is an international recruitment consultancy that specialises in recruiting internationally-based candidates from Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Central & Eastern Europe back into jobs within their home countries. They host Recruitment Summits, Search and Selection Services, and run Recruitment Campaigns that are innovative and provide solutions for companies looking to source high calibre individuals who possess that rare blend of international experience combined with regional understanding they will briefly present on their company and opportunities in Southern Africa.
Oscar Bonga Nomvete
Born and bred in the Eastern Cape, South Africa Oscar is a Leadership and Management Consultant, helping organizations with strategy design. He is the Author of the book: Rising to Excellence. In his work as a consultant he facilitates Leadership workshops and seminars for Non-Governmental Organizations, Churches and Corporate Companies, inspiring people towards leadership and entrepreneurship. Oscar is also a Community Activist, running a Non Profit Organisation in London which reaches out to the homeless and needy.
The evening will be hosted by WEZIMBABWE in association with Munroe James and is free however donations to the WEZIMBABWE Foundation will be received with appreciation.
