2. MDC should not bow to Zanu (PF) demands on Bennett because any police of appeasement will only encourage Zanu (PF) to make even more outrageous demands to the detriment of the MDC. I am prepared for mass action in the streets to force Zanu (PF) to let Bennett take up the job of deputy agriculture minister. Tinei Mutare
3. I would like to express my gratitude to you all at The Zimbabwean on Sunday for publishing such a wonderful paper. I am a Zanu (PF) supporter and I agree with you that you reportage is about the truth of what is happening. This is in spite of the perceived notion that you are an MDC mouthpiece.
I think you could go an extra mile by having a column(s) where all political parties are able to enunciate their policies and positions on topical issues affecting the country. The column or debate platform will also allow members of the public to respond to and comment on the submissions made by the various political parties.
I think this would help kill the perception that your paper is a mouthpiece of the MDC and, besides, you will also set an example for the media fraternity in Zimbabwe because for the first time we will be able to read the thoughts of our politicians on the pages of the same paper. Anonymous.
