Both Mugabe and Tsvangirai have said elections are expected next year.
Mutambara who was addressing a Ghana-Zimbabwe forum here said: “We are busy working on electoral reforms, economic, political reforms and constitutional reforms that will make our elections free and fair.
He said given the positive gains recorded by the inclusive government there was no need to rush to conduct elections.
There will be no elections until such time that we are ready,” he said.
He however said the inclusive government will not go beyond 2013
He said Ghana and Zimbabwe should strengthen economic ties as a way of cementing already existing bilateral ties.
He urged investors from both countries to look out for opportunities to enhance their bilateral trade.
“Ghana can tap our rich experience in the agriculture sector while we can also learn from Ghana’s banking sector which has seen a lot of reforms,” he said.
“The best way forward for African countries is to trade among themselves and the initiative by Zimbabwe is a step in the right direction,”said Mutambara.
