THE DAILY AGENDA: 02 June 2010

The Daily Agenda, published from Monday to Friday provides information on critical governance and developmental issues. It is our hope that the information provided will be useful to our constituency of readership, particularly the leaders at the local level and civil society practitioners, in informing and shaping their choice of developmental objectives and initiatives.

Ntabazinduna- Pupils continue to excel in their education despite the deteriorating levels of education in the region. At the cluster awards, held at John Tallach Secondary School, last week, pupils showed their dedication, intelligence and determination to make the province proud judging from the excellent results from the various schools in the area. However, teachers and some pupils said that attaining such good results was not an easy task as there are serious shortages of resources and teachers in the schools.
