Hwange- A ZINWA official was assaulted by a consumer using an iron bar while on duty asking to see bills of payment for water. He said that while trying to explain and break down the bills to the consumer, he got angry and struck the official on the left elbow. The official said that the consumer had complained about the hiked bills which he had not cleared and would not listen to the explanation on the payment terms. Some residents reiterated that the bills are very high and they cannot afford to pay them.
