Bulawayo- In a bid to address human trafficking during the world cup, young people in Bulawayo have taken the initiative to combat the proliferation of their counterparts falling prey to hopeless promises ending up as victims of trafficking circumstances through education. In a meeting organised by the National Youth Development Trust (NYDT) and the United States Embassy, to discuss human trafficking, young people expressed concern that there is continued exploitation of individuals who are in desperate need for work. Although they noticed that the economic situation in the country is the root cause of the problem so they educated other young people on the hazards of trafficking.
