Zimnyama- Community members have resorted to sharing water resources with their cattle as the area is dry and does not have a dam. The Ward Councillor, Edward Ndlovu, said that animals such as cattle and donkeys have been the most affected by the water problems with some of them dying as a result. He said the unavailability of water reservoirs has led to drought in the area with farming patterns being disturbed.
– Community members in Zimnyama said they do not know when the constitution making process starts although the launch of this process was done last week. They said the majority of the people in that area are not aware of the importance of participating in the consitution making process as there has not been much ground work to educate them. They said that the major cause to their ignorance is because of media blackout as there is no access to the newspapers and radio stations.
