EDITOR - What a terrible mistake all African liberation movements made in the 1960 through to the late 1980s by importing AK47s when the simple plastic vuvuzela would have ended colonialism and apartheid overnight.
Had hundreds of thousands of freedom fighters stood on the northern bank of the Zambezi and blown this obnoxious instrument for a couple of days, every white would have fled Ian Smiths Rhodesia.
Then the ANC and others could have stood alongside the northern bank of the Limpopo and blown away for a fortnight and the walls of apartheid like the walls of Jericho would have come -a tumbling- down.
