“I am ready for the kill,” said Moyo.
The Bulawayo-born boxer is one of the few competitive boxers left carrying the
Zimbabwe flag, even though he is based in South Africa.
“Boxers like me keep the sport alive in Zimbabwe and for it to stay alive
winning matches is part of the plan,” he added.
Moyo’s boxing career started in the same place where Zimbabwean heavyweight
Champion and WBA Pan African champion, Thamsanqa Dube, started under Coach
Phil Striker. Striker believes his product can be a force to reckon with in
the light heavyweight division.
“He has the speed and the heart of a lion. I know he can upset Muller,” said
Striker.
