JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs has hailed Zimbabwean midfield international, Tinashe Nengomasha, and their former team skipper as a great player.
Kaizer Chiefs Cooperate Communications manager, Thebe Mohatle, told The Zimbabwean that Nengomasha was one of the greatest reliable players Chiefs had ever had in their books. He is always on top of his game and contributes a lot to the teams successes, said Mohatle. However, he challenged fans to cease interfering in the teams selection as they always wanted Nengomasha in the first line-up.
We have a great player like Tinashe Nengomasha, sometimes he is on the bench but that will be the technical teams strategies and we urge fans to be patient and respect our decisions and strategies. The selection of players is purely a technical decision. Supporters must not put pressure on us or influence the teams line-up. We have had problems previously with fans complaining and crying for their favourite players to be in the starting line-up on every day bases, he added.
Nengomasha signed for Chiefs eight years ago and has been influential since then as a regular feature in the midfield for Amakhosi.
