mdc_logoHwange Senator Jabulani Ndlovu has been admitted at Hwange hospital after he was injured when the vehicle he was travelling in was involved in an accident along the Hwange Victoria Falls highway today.

Police from Masvingo Central Police Station have threatened to raid the MDC Masvingo provincial offices if administrators manning the offices do not supply the police with the names, contact details and residential addresses of all MDC Masvingo provincial council members.

For the past two weeks, police officers have been coming to the MDC offices in the central business district demanding all the names of the provincial council members. They are led by one Sergeant Makunike. Today, Makunike gave the office administrators up to Friday to produce the required details and failure to comply; the police have threatened to raid the offices.

In Zhombe, Midlands North province, an MDC member Raphel Mandoti of Ward 7, has been hospitalised at Zhombe mission hospital after he was attacked by Zanu PF supporters.

Mandoti, 65, was attacked for putting up posters in the district mobilising people to attend an MDC memorial rally held on Saturday for the late MDC founder member and spokesperson, Learnmore Jongwe. Mandoti sustained a broken leg. The Learnmore Jongwe memorial rally was held last Saturday at Empress Mine business centre and was attended by thousands of MDC supporters, including Jongwes relatives and friends.
