The dance comes after the previous successful dances that include the trademark Borrowdale, Razo Wire and the famous Slow Motion dances.
The Zora Butter dances sees Machesos chief dancers the exciting Francis Slomo Daka and Jonas Kasamba on stage exhibiting the increasingly popular dance.
They move back and forth in exciting choreography with their hands moving all over the body parts like a person applying body lotion. Macheso said they embarked on the dance in order to introduce new things to the people. We have seen this as a noble idea to introduce new things, as many of our fans are now familiar with the other previous dances. We hope that this new dance will appeal to the fans like what the previous dances have done, said Macheso in an interview.
Meanwhile, Macheso has roped in the services of his younger brother Peter, as one of the dancers. Considering the way he is exhibiting the dances during live shows, the young Macheso is destined for greatness. He has fitted well in the group of seasoned dancers like Slomo and Kasamba.
One day I was at home and I watched Peter dancing to my music. I closely followed his dances and I was overwhelmed. I encouraged him to work harder he did so and he has earned a place in the Orchestra Mberikwazvo. I am proud of him and he is a very confident young man who is willing to learn more skills, said Macheso. During the festive shows around the country, young Peter mesmerized fans with his dances especially his own version of Borrowdale dance.
