The Daily Agenda

bulawayo_agendaPlumtree Residents in Plumtree have said if an election is to be held this year electoral basics such as free and fair polls will be violated as there is no constitution in place.

Speaking at a public meeting organised by Plumtree Agenda, the residents said holding an election this year will produce a contested result and lead to yet another unity government. However, they expressed that if an election should go ahead, then it must only be a presidential election because all problems bedeviling the unity government is a result of bickering between President Mugabe and Prime Minister Tsvangirai.
