Chirumanzi- Base camps have reportedly resurfaced in Chirumanzi at an area called Holy Cross in Midlands. Youths are said to be recruited into the camps and are undergoing some training. Also, people going into the area are allegedly asked where they are coming from and are requested to state their business. Chirumanzi is Emerson Mnangagwas constituency.

People around the country are gripped with fear of violence after deadly clashes in Harare caused by Zanu PF youths. The setting up of base camps by ZANU PF in most remote areas is believed to be a sign that elections will be held soon, a position that the party agreed during its conference in Mutare.

Bulawayo– Students at NUST do not have an SRC. The students at the institution have reported that there is one Farai who is masquandering as the SRC president. Farai is said to be a police officer and has spent more than five years at the university. This has led to disharmony among the studentss. Police have been recruited into public institutions. Late in 2010, Chronicle was reported to have hired police officers as reporters.
