Antipas confident of defending league title

joey__antipasHARARE Motor Action's reigning coach of the year, Joey Antipas (Pictured), has expressed confidence he has assembled a squad good enough to help the team successfully defend the league title they won last year.

The Mighty Bulls had a good start in their premier soccer league season opener after collecting their full set of points against Black Mambas at the weekend. The reigning PSL champions lost a number of key players, including Soccer Star of the Year Charles Sibanda and finalist Bekimpilo Ncube to cash-rich outfit FC Platinum. But the Bulls Mighty Bulls gaffer said in an interview with The Zimbabwean this week he has a good squad that can successfully defend the title.

“Of course we lost key players. Charles Sibanda was an exceptional player but in football it is all about player movements and right now I am happy with the squad I have. Every player in the team is hungry and wants to prove his worthy in the team and I am confident with this squad we will successfully defend the title. So far we have picked three points from the game against Black Mambas and if we maintain that kind of form nothing will stop us from winning the title again this term, said Antipas.
