FC platinum were the biggest spenders on the transfer market, CAPTURING Zimbabwe Under-23 midfielder Joel Ngodzo, reigning soccer star of the year Charles Sibanda and 2010 Golden Boot winner Norman Maroto. Most soccer fans interviewed by The Zimbabwean believe the team has what it takes to win the league title.
“Obviously they are the favourites,” said Tendai Magure. “When you look at their squad they have some of the best players.
Amos Nhau said: “It will be a very tight race because Dynamos are also a threat because they have assembled a very experienced squad but I think it will be FC Platinum. When you have a player like Ngodzo you are assured of beating anybody. He is a football genius.”
Danmore Makwanja, a staunch Dynamos supporter, remained loyal to his team. We have a very good team this season that can beat anybody. We also have a good coach in Lloyd Mutasa. It will be a very exciting season,” he said Apart from Ngodzo, FC Platinum also signed veteran former Motor Action midfielder Bhekimpilo Ncube, tough tackling defender Daniel Veremu,
and the former Gunners duo of Tafadzwa Dube and Norman Chikozho Togara.
