EDITOR - The deteriorating situation in Zimbabwe is a clear indication that GPA is not working for the people of Zimbabwe, but instead has resuscitated Mugabes repressive regime.The GPA can be compared to the phrase half a loaf is better than nothing, unfortunately for the opposition they got a few slices in the form of limited power and influence in the government, but Mugabe has used them to campaign against the sanctions and make false claims about the situation in the Zimababwe. The failure of the opposition to stop the recent arrests, violence and the militarisation of the diamond mines to fund ZANUs violent election campaign is just one of many reasons the opposition should seriously consider its position and participation in the GPA.
Its time for the diasporans to step up to the plate and support the campaign to forcefully remove Mugabes regime, as it seems like the opposition has failed to fulfil their mandate.
