Caps United Football Club is enjoying life at the top of the log table hoping to add another sweet victory in the coming Castle lager Premier Soccer League Week 4 fixture against Blue Ribbon, this weekend.The team, led by Moses Bambo Chunga, seems to be making a rule of scoring at least four goals in their winning matches and leaving their opponents appearing a division one side.
Their Week One fixture against Zimbabwe Saints resulted in a 5-2 victory following a great recovery from trailing 0-2. Five more goals were added to their collection when they defeated Shooting Stars 5-2 in their Week two fixture, followed by their recent 4-0 massacre of Shabanie Mine.
Newboys Blue Ribbon will be their targeted victims this weekend, but the premiership newcomers will not be taken for granted after a fair start to their debut year in the top flight league.
Blue Ribbon won 2-1 against Black Mambas, drew 2-all against Chicken Inn and lost one match against Shooting Stars when they suffered a 0-2 defeat. They will be seeking to end MaKepeKepes winning streak for their own morale booster for the games ahead.
In the other fixtures for the weekend, Monomotapa United will meet Kiglon as Dynamos face Hwange. Former Champions Gunners will clash with Bulawayo giants Highlanders in Harare as Shabanie Mine hope to collect maximum points against their hosts FC Platinum in Zvishavane. Shooting Stars date the defending champions Motor Action while Black Mambas hosts Chicken Inn at Morris Depot. A date between premiership returners Zimbabwe Saints and Masvingo United will make up Week four fixture.
