In answer to Sarah Mugairis question; What has happened to my fellow countrymen? They are extremely intimidated by the stupid hooligans as she labels the Zimbabwean army.
I believe Sarah herself would be intimidated by the fear of a knock at the door at midnight to be taken for questioning and then dumped somewhere with broken bones, beaten and raped. However Sarah, should I underestimate you, please do Zimbabweans a big favour, return to your country and show those who are intimidated how to resist the hooligans.
I am sure, too that we would all appreciate Nhlanhla Sikhosana emulating the brave person standing in front of advancing tanks and showing his fellow unarmed Zimbabweans how to stand firm before the riot police armed with batons and firearms and not flinch but courageously advance when tear gassed.
Chenai Sando, much as many will applaud your wanting to kick Mugabe out, you do not advise us how to do so without resorting to violence. Perhaps you have overlooked the fact that Zimbabweans gave a decided vote of confidence to Morgan Tsvangirai when he won the 2008 election. They condemned violence and opted for the promise of a hopefully peaceful transition to democracy.
We are not aware that our Prime Minister has any troops to mobilise and we would not wish him to get his hands dirty. Progress may be slow but we, living in your country, see a slow improvement in conditions for which we are very thankful and God willing Prime Minister Tsvangirai will complete the task given him.
However, all of you please continue with your rhetoric whilst it annoys a lot of people because of the obvious opinion that it is alright for you to talk from the safety of UK, I am sure it also allows Zimbabweans a sarcastic laugh. Amazingly enough, from experience I would venture to say that one sees more smiling faces here than in UK. It must be our wonderful climate do you remember it? Somehow we survive and look forward with hope to a better future.
