HARARE - Comedian-cum-singer Freddy 'Kapfupi' Judging from Kapfupi’s recent live performances and radio reviews for his latest album [Musoja], he is still in the limelight. But the album has no punch as compared to the previous hit album, Juice Card. He should have taken his time before releasing another album, said Terrence Mambo, a music analyst.
He added that Kapfupi should have learnt from sungura icons such as Alick ‘Extra Basso’ Macheso, who usually take time before releasing a new piece after a very successful run. However, Kapfupi’s fans were confident that the Extra Ndozvo
frontman’s fifth album will definitely take him to the apex of the sungura league once again.
Mercy Manyau, a fan of Kapfupi said, The album is perfect. Kapfupi has the talent and why should he wait, this is his time.
