THOMAS (TOMMY) FRANCIS FALLON : Tommy passed away in Ireland on Monday 27th June 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He was laid to rest yesterday in Dysart, with his parents and brothers Willie, PJ, and sister Theresa. Tommy left Ireland early in the 60's for the copper mines in Zambia. He left there to join his brother Willie farming in the Umvukwes area in the late 60's. He bought Rufaro Farm from Jack Foster-Melliar, and lived there at Figtree Cottage for many years. Tommy had many friends, always had a twinkle in his eye and a quiet, gentle wit, and will be remembered by many for leaving the gathering without a word of goodbye, but always leaving a drop in the bottom of the glass for the faeries.
