
Mushonga made these remarks while addressing delegates at the Forbes border post where was checking progress on the refurbishment exercise being carried out by government.
“There is a lot of untapped business investment opportunities at the country’s entry points which local people should take advantage of,” she said, citing the recently established warehouse at Plumtree border post which she said had created employment for locals.
“The renovation and refurbishment of our borders will improve efficiency and movement of goods,” she said.
Mushonga said the country should organise all border posts using the Chirundu post as a benchmark.
