A top boss at the bottled water and soft drinks manufacturer confirmed in an exclusive interview that the firm was interested in listing.
He said this move would give Schweppes more strength against other major soft drinks manufacturers.
Schweppes competes mainly with the monopolistic Delta Corporation Limited and, Dairibord Holdings.
"The company intends to list on the ZSE sometime probably during the last Quarter of this year," the official said in an exclusive interview.
"This will unlock shareholder value and give the firm more ownership in Zimbabwe."
Schweppes manufactures the very popular Mazoe Orange Crush soft drink, which makes Zimbabweans all over the world smile that at least something is coming from their poor nation.
Those in the diaspora, especially in the United Kingdom, jostle for a taste whenever Mazoe Orange Crush arrives from their family members back home.
