Sako, a white Zanu (PF) political activist, availed his personal grader to the local community for the repair of the road, a gesture which apparently angered Undenge.
“Sako and his parents have been residing in this area for the past 30 years and they have done nothing to help the people with roads construction. Why is he coming with Chigrader chake chakaora now when there is talk of election,” said Undenge.
The deputy minister accused Sako of using unqualified personal and substandard equipment which he said had worsened the state of the road.
Efforts to get a comment from Sako were unsuccessful.
