Almighty God is in control and He is allowing events to bring everything to a culmination in world history. We can read about the end of the story in the Bible and we know that while things will get a whole lot worse, Jesus will reign supreme and all enemies will be put under His feet.
In the meantime, He has plans and purposes for His children and He requires us to be diligent in our devotion to Him. While ministering to Him, He will show what He asks each of us to do. We are called not to be anxious or troubled in these tumultuous times, but to be steadfast, looking to the author and finisher of our faith, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, Christ Jesus Himself.
As we abandon ourselves to Him and His purposes, He will provide all our needs (not greeds), according to His riches. Our pure and absolute devotion to Him alone is foundational to living as overcomers in this present age.
