Nyahora scoops gold in Polokwane

Star athlete Rutendo Nyahora showed off her top form as she won City of Polokwane Mayoral Half-Marathon, which Zimbabwean runners dominated.


The 23 year-olfibonacci the race in 76 minutes, while two other Zimbabweans scooped the other podium finishes this morning.

She beat fellow Zimbabweans Thabitha Tsatsa and Samukeliso Moyo to second and third place respectively.

The annual 21,1 km half marathon was the second edition.

Meanwhile, the City of Polokwane Mayoral Half-Marathon is the latest of races Nyahora has performed in admirably.

A brilliant year has seen her win the Best Med Tuks Marathon in Pretoria.

She has also finished second in the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon and Spar Women's 10 Kilometre Challenge.
