INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index slipped 0.65 points (0.42%) to close at 155.04 points. PPC (PPC.zw) eased 5 cents to trade at 225 cents, DELTA (DLTA.zw) and PIONEER (PION.zw) lost a cent to close at 95 cents and 2 cents respectively. FIDELITY LIFE (FIDL.zw), INNSCOR (INN.zw) and TA HLDS (TAHO.zw) were down 0.50 cents to 13 cents, 72 cents and 10.50 cents respectively. PADENGA (PHL.zw) retreated 0.25 cents to trade at 4.50 cents.
On the upside, ZBFH (ZBFH.zw) gained 2 cents to 10 cents. OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) was up a cent at 170 cents whilst AFRE (AFRE.zw) and CFI (CFI.zw) added 0.10 cents to 5.10 cents apiece.
MININGS
The mining index retreated 1.96 points (2.39%) to close at 80.08 points. RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) was down 5 cents to settle at 55 cents. BINDURA (BIND.zw), FALGOLD (FALG.zw) and HWANGE (HCCL.zw) were unchanged at previous trading levels.
