INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index lost 1.47 points (0.79%) to close at 184.08 points. HIPPO (HIPO.zw) retreated 10 cents to 110 cents, MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) and TA HLDS (TAHO.zw) eased 0.50 cents to trade at 20 cents and 7 cents respectively. BARCLAYS (BARC.zw) was down 0.10 cents to close at 3.10 cents, ART (ARTD.zw) lost 0.05 cents to 0.45 cents, INNSCOR (INN.zw) shed 0.03 cents to trade at 83 cents and MEDTECH (MMDZ.zw) slipped 0.02 cents to close at 0.02 cents.
However, OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) added 5 cents to 240 cents. SEEDCO (SEED.zw) gained 3 cents to 65 cents whilst COLCOM (COLC.zw) and ZBFH (ZBFH.zw) were a cent firmer at 25 cents and 8 cents respectively. FIDELITY LIFE (FIDL.zw) advanced 0.50 cents to trade at 14.50 cents.
MININGS
The mining index gained 2.36 points (3.69%) to close at 66.24 points. HWANGE (HCCL.zw) added a cent to 12 cents and BINDURA (BIND.zw) was up 0.22 cents to settle at 2.53 cents. FALGOLD (FALG.zw) was offered lower at 14 cents whilst RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) was unchanged at previous trading levels.
