INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index lost 0.26 points (0.14%) to close at 189.40 points. HIPPO (HIPO.zw) was down 11 cents to trade at 100 cents, OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) retreated 5 cents to 225 cents and FIDELITY LIFE (FIDL.zw) shed 1.5 cents to close at 10.5 cents. NMB (NMB.zw) and SEEDCO (SEED.zw) put off a cent each to settle at 10 cents and 65 cents respectively.
Among the gainers was BAT (BAT.zw) which added 5 cents to 760 cents. DELTA (DLTA.zw) recovered 1.2 cents to trade at 128.2 cents and ECONET (ECO.zw) was 0.98 cents firmer at 62.1 cents. MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) picked up 0.8 cents to 24 cents and TSL (TSL.zw) increased by 0.1 cents to settle at 18.6 cents.
MININGS
The mining index closed at 71.09 points after losing 0.89 points (1.24%). BINDURA (BIND.zw) gained 0.01 cents to trade at 2.8 cents. FALGOLD (FALG.zw), HWANGE (HCCL.zw) and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) maintained their previous trading levels.
