The team’s coach, Peter Manothi, told The Zimbabwean they would fight to collect maximum points in each of their remaining matches, adding that his boys were all geared up for the challenge.
“Since we started picking up points, the atmosphere and morale in the camp has been raised and no-one thinks about losing anymore. The boys are now focused,” said Manothi. “We will keep on fighting because we have gathered momentum. In the past, we experienced huge difficulties and failed to play as a team, but that has been solved and all the past individualism is gone. The players now understand our playing system and that has seen things get a bit better.”
He said with players like midfielders, Chinire Mambura and Webster Chingodza, and striker Aleck Marima, who has netted six goals for the side, they stood a good chance. Tripple B drew their weekend game 0-0 at home to fellow strugglers and log anchors, Motor Action at the weekend, to draw two points closer to Hwange and Black Rhinos, who both lost.
