The presiding officers told both Houses of Parliament yesterday that the business of all Parliamentary committees of Parliament would be adjourned indefinitely. A date for resumption of business would be announced in due course
After yesterday afternoon’s sittings, both Houses went into recess until Tuesday 28th January 2014. It is, therefore, unlikely that Senate Thematic Committees and National Assembly Portfolio Committees will resume business until
Monday 27th January at the earliest.
