The 25-year-old is now available for selection after he received his international transfer clearance recently. He is in line to make his long-awaited debut when Aces host Moroka Swallows in a league encounter next week.
The finalisation of his paperwork comes as a major boost to a side that has struggled for goals this season. Their 12 goals in 14 matches makes them joint second-worst in the goal scoring stakes and leave them 10th on the 16-team log.
“Ndoro is a regular feature in the Warriors’ squad and his acquisition will surely help solve the team’s goal-scoring challenges and relieve the pressure from other players in the team’s striking department,” Aces spokesperson, Gordon Masondo, said. Other strikers Mabhudi Khenyeza, Aleni Lebyane, Donovan Thompson, Clifford Mulenga and Esau Mtsweni have largely fired blanks this season. Ndoro penned a two-year contract at the beginning of the season but due to the delay in the issuance of his ITC, he could not be registered with the local Premier Soccer League newcomers.
He was subsequently loaned back to Chicken Inn to keep fit. Ndoro eventually finished the top goal scorer in the Castle Lager PSL with 18 league goals last season. At Aces, he will play alongside fellow Zimbabwean Energy Murambadoro, whose permanent residence permit the Department of Home Affairs said would be out next month.
