I am a male aged 22, I recently been having a yellowish discharge that is very itchy. I fail to walk properly because of the pain it causes sometimes. Some of my friends have been scaring me that I have a sexually transmitted disease because there was this one day we went out for a party and hooked up with some ladies there for one night.
But like I said, it was just one night. I have tried some pain killers, while they help for some few hours the problem has been persistent. What could be the cause of this and what treatment do you suggest? – J-Man
Dear J-Man
I am not able to suggest any treatment to you because I am not sure what it is exactly that you are suffering from. But I’m afraid your friends may be right – as it does sound like some form of STD. You need to visit the doctor urgently and get treatment.
Having unprotected sex with a partner, especially a stranger, will get you into trouble. One night of unprotected sex is enough for one to get a sexually transmitted infection.
This is why you need to stop fooling yourself with pain-killers and visit the doctor before it grows into something uncontrollable. While you are at it, please learn to abstain or at least always engage into protected sex.
You are too young to be reckless with your life. Friends who urge you to do bad things like going wild at parties do not care about you. They are not good friends, so you need to drop them before they lead you into something deadly. You need to make your parents and relatives proud. – Aunty Lisa
