Housing Trust provides solution to housing backlog

November 2011 marked the birth of one of Gweru’s finest property developers. The Heritage Housing Trust company with the catchphrase 'Bridging the gap in housing backlog' counts unique state-of-the-art housing projects that include roads, bridges, sewers and drainage systems among its endeavours.

caterpillarWith an office situated on the first floor of the Telone Building, the company delivers a service that exceeds it’s customers’ expectations. Five years of experience in the construction industry, Heritage has built a name in the business as a company that meets clients’ expectations.
Unlike other companies that experience the unpleasantness of clients complaining about shoddy workmanship and mediocre customer care, the trust boasts a wide, satisfied client base in Gweru and across the Midlands Province.
In an exclusive interview with this reporter the Heritage’s marketing manager, Moses Masinge explained that theirs is a trailblazing company that is conveniently located in the Gweru’s central business district and that it has become a familiar sight in the city of progress. Masinge said Heritage is one of the property developers that have stood the test of time.
“The Heritage Housing Trust provides sustainable land development projects that stand the test of time in the province. We have modelled our line of business to meet global property development trends. We foster quality workmanship so as to offer sustainable projects to our ever increasing client base. As the common norm and with the objective of ensuring our positive contribution to addressing the national housing challenge, we are now a familiar sight in the province, complimenting Government’s efforts in bridging the housing backlog,” he said.
Our news crew had the opportunity to view two Heritage projects, one situated at Raylands along Lower Gweru road and the other in Daylesford near Suburban lodge along Shurugwi road. At this time this reporter managed to speak to stand owners who praised the company saying that it had come up with exceptional models designed to meet every possible requirement.
The project obviously reaps the benefit provided by the top quality earth moving equipment the news crew observed operating at some of the sites.
“We are enjoying major achievements in our field and progressing well. We remain committed to our clients and their well being. Our teams continue to work extra hard to uphold the company’s high principles of integrity, passion and determination.”
“Heritage has well trained administrators who handle the company’s financial transactions with the highest degree of expertise as well as sales personnel who have a vast knowledge of professional marketing skills,” Masinge added.
The country initially had a 1; 25 million housing backlog but Heritage has made great strides in decreasing this figure. With rural to urban migration on the increase and the growth of urban squatter camps, the shortage of affordable public housing is a contentious issue.
