Linda Masarira
Linda Musarira and 10 others are being represented by ZLHR member Kudzayi Kadzere and they are facing charges of obstructing the free flow of traffic.
Efforts to file an Appeal at the High Court for Masarira who has been languishing in prison for over a month have not been successful as the State has not provided a transcribed record of proceedings.
Meanwhile Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) spokesperson Jealous Mawarire handed himself over to Law and Order Section where he had been summoned following a twitter row with Jonathan Moyo, Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education.
Mawarire was accompanied by ZLHR lawyers Dzimbabwe Chimbga and Dorcas Chitiyo where he was charged under section 88 of the Post and Telecommunications Act which deals with offensive or false telephone messages.
Mawarire was released after signing a warned and cautioned statement.
