“We are reminding the U.K. that for any type of democracy, sound and credible election is the most reliable means for the determination of who the representative of the people will be and Zimbabwe should not be an exception” said one of the petitioners Gladys Hellen Meck.
Attched is the detailed petition regarding the poor electoral environment and reminding the U.K. government that verbal assurances from a military dictatorship – with a horrendous record of torture, murder, and disappearances – are not worth the paper they are written on.
