to Fill Chief Elections Officer Vacancy

The post of Chief Elections Officer at the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has been vacant since 1st March 2018.  The vacancy arose when the Commission terminated the tenure of the previous incumbent, Mrs Constance Chigwamba.  Mrs Chigwamba had held the post on secondment from the Public Service since 1st June 2015.

Mr Utoile Silaigwana has been the Acting Chief Elections Officer since the vacancy arose.  He  has held the post of Deputy Chief Elections Officer since 2007,

The Commission has now advertised the vacancy and called for applications from suitably qualified people seeking appointment to the position of Chief Elections Officer.  The full text of the advertisement is available on the Veritas website here [link].
