On Wednesday a national dialogue was called by President Emmerson Mnangagwa that saw some opposition leader attend but was snubbed by the main opposition MDC Alliance.
Its president Nelson Chamisa instead attended another gathering the following day, a national leaders prayer meeting. One of the MDC Alliance leaders and former Finance Minister Tendai Biti is in South Africa and speaks to the SABC about why his grouping wasn’t heeding calls to engage Mnangagwa.
