Women and Justice. Traditional Courts

Women in rural areas are confronted with the challenge of getting their voices heard and being represented in traditional courts which are mostly populated by male assessors. Access to free and fair justice is a challenge for women in the rural areas as they navigate through the patriarchal landscape of rural traditional courts.
