There are 11 open Committee meetings scheduled for this week, as indicated below.
In addition, two committees will be conducting field visits, one to digital centres and the other to hospitals and clinics. The times and dates of the visits are shown below.
“Open”, in the context of committee meetings, means that the meetings are open to attendance by members of the public, but as observers only. Members of the public wishing to attend meetings in the New Parliament Building will need to produce their IDs to gain entry to the Building.

Verification Visits and Consultations on Access to
Health Services by Sex Workers
Below is the schedule of visits and consultations by the Thematic Committee on HIV and AIDS regarding access by sex workers to HIV/AIDS and sexual reproductive health services. At all the venues the Committee will be meeting officials of the National AIDS Council, the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare and the Centre for Sexual Health and HIV AIDS Research. The Committee will also be receiving submissions from sex workers.
