When did God tell you Mnangagwa was divinely chosen to lead Zimbabwe — stop abusing Jehovah’s patience!

When a drum starts beating too loudly, it is about to tear.

We watch them step behind polished desks with rehearsed media entourages and immaculate suits, speaking with a manufactured certainty that defies every principle of true spiritual discernment.

They look directly into cameras to declare that human rulers sitting on seats of political might were chosen by heaven itself.

In doing so, they absolve earthly leaders of accountability while wrapping partisan survival in the unassailable garments of divine will.

Consider the recent pronouncements by self-styled figures like Prophet Passion Java.

He publicly claimed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa was initially reluctant to pursue an extended term, but was allegedly left with no choice because ordinary Zimbabweans supposedly endorsed the 2030 agenda.

He further insisted that this continued leadership is part of God’s plan.

Java went even further into spiritual absurdity by declaring that Mnangagwa was divinely chosen to lead the country.

When did Jehovah tell you this?

Where is the celestial transcript?

When did the Almighty hand you a private briefing on constitutional term limits, succession politics, and political patronage?

True scripture reveals an unmistakable pattern of how Jehovah actually chooses and ordains leaders, a pattern that exposes the complete bankruptcy of modern political prophecy.

In the Bible, God’s true prophets never waited for a king to seize power, consolidate a regime, or engineer a term extension before declaring them divine choices.

Instead, Jehovah anointed His preferred leaders well before they ever held office, sending His prophets to consecrate them while they were still ordinary citizens or youths.

Look at the biblical precedent set by Samuel.

He did not wait until King Saul was firmly established or searching for political survival before anointing a successor.

Instead, Jehovah sent Samuel directly to the home of Jesse to pour sacred oil over the young David—an unknown shepherd boy—designating him as the future king long before he ever stepped foot in a palace.

Even Saul himself was anointed by the prophet Samuel to become Israel’s first king long before he ever held political power, at a time when he was merely searching for his father’s lost donkeys.

Overwhelmed by the immense gravity of the divine calling, he even attempted to hide among the baggage to avoid the public unveiling of his designated leadership.

True divine ordination happens in advance, guided by divine wisdom and moral standard, not as a retroactive endorsement of whoever happens to hold the reins of state security.

Yet today’s self-styled prophets do the exact opposite.

They wait until a leader is already firmly in power, complete with state machinery and political leverage, and only then rush forward to declare that heaven ordained them.

Why do we never see these opportunistic voices anointing the next leader in line before they rise to power?

Why are they not pouring anointing oil on the person Jehovah has supposedly already designated to succeed Mnangagwa?

The answer is obvious: they possess no divine foresight.

They are not hearing from heaven; they are simply watching the political winds.

This is not faith.

This is a theatrical performance designed to shield earthly power from public scrutiny.

It is a calculated, transactional trade where holy trust is bartered away for worldly favor, physical security, and proximity to the corridors of state influence.

Self-styled prophets trade truth for elite proximity.

They bow before political masters to secure protection, wealth, and social standing, lending divine backing to agendas that oppress the vulnerable and bypass the foundational laws of the land.

They use the pulpit as a megaphone for state propaganda, dressing up partisan ambitions in spiritual vestments.

Where do they get the audacity?

It comes from a toxic combination of arrogance and greed, from a complete divorce from the true weight of the sacred.

They look at ordinary citizens yearning for economic dignity, constitutional integrity, and basic social justice, and they feed them spiritual falsehoods.

They claim that opposing a political leader is equivalent to opposing God Himself, weaponizing the faith of the masses to enforce compliance and silence dissent.

Why do they say these things?

They say them because patronage pays handsomely.

They say them because cozying up to the powerful keeps their treasuries full and their personal empires secure.

They turn the house of prayer into a house of political barter, trading the timeless, uncompromising truths of scripture for temporary earthly relevance.

Yet they tread on holy ground with reckless abandon, operating under the dangerous assumption that divine grace functions as a blank check for impunity.

Under the old covenant, swift and terrifying justice answered public blasphemy.

Fire and brimstone left no room for ambiguity or misinterpretation.

But we live in the era of grace, a time of boundless patience and divine forbearance.

God holds back His hand to give humanity space to repent.

He waits, extending mercy so that even the most corrupt deceiver might turn back to truth.

These figures mistake this patience for weakness.

They assume that because the heavens do not split open instantly, their deceit goes unnoticed by the Creator.

They think they can mock the Almighty without consequence, taking the slow, patient mercy of Jehovah and weaponizing it for their own personal aggrandizement.

This is a grave transgression and a direct assault on divine sovereignty.

It treats the Creator as an accomplice to earthly tyranny.

Scripture warns us that despising the riches of divine kindness only stores up wrath for an unrepentant heart.

Patience is never an endorsement of evil.

The passage of time does not erase accountability; it merely delays it until the full measure of human hypocrisy is weighed in the balance.

True spiritual leadership defends the broken, feeds the hungry, and speaks unvarnished truth to power.

True messengers do not bow to politicians or endorse unconstitutional term extensions for pieces of silver.

They honor the sacred trust entrusted to them by a holy God, refusing to sell out the pulpit for a photo opportunity with the elite.

The time for self-serving prophecy must end.

The house of Jehovah belongs to truth, not political survival.

Let these voices tremble before the patience they so recklessly abuse.

For justice, though it waits, never forgets.
