lovu had come in some six minutes before regulation time.
Even a small group of patriotic Zimbabweans, who had come to cheer Ndlovu up were disappointed by his standard of play.
Sundowns grabbed the two goals from Surprise Moriri, but the showing, ball distribution and supporting the man with the ball proved costly for Ndlovu.
The former Coventry and Highlanders striker struggled with his pace, dribbling skills, shooting, ball control and passing – shocking many spectators.
Despite his poor showing on Sunday, most fans believe Ndlovu will be of great importance to the club in helping to identify quality players for the team when he retires.
“You have seen by yourself but this man is important to club on the basis that he could be used as a coach in the near future.
“It is a fact that Ndlovu is no longer the flying elephant we used to know at Coventry City or Highlanders, maybe it is because of age. If I were Mostepe, I would keep Ndlovu with a view of elevating him to become the coach. He is an experienced player,” said Dimpho Matshadi, a Mamelodi Sundowns supporter.
Fellow countryman, Esrom Nyandoro, played his heart out in the middle of the park supplying both goals to Moriri.
Despite failing to make it in the English premiership, Nyandoro was the main man in the middle of the Sundowns squad, running throughout the 90 minutes, supporting the man with the ball, releasing some defence splitting passes, marking tightly, shooting accurately. – CAJ News

Ndlovu losing his touch?
PRETORIA - Former Zimbabwe Warriors Captain, Peter Ndlovu seems to be losing his touch, if last week's poor showing against AmaZulu during the South African premiership encounter is anything to go by.
Mamelodi Sundowns eventually beat AmaZulu 2-1 but Ndlovu's display left a lot to be desired. Nd
