dzo, confirmed his availability in a telephone call to club chairman Ernest Sibanda last week.
He said he would be there by the weekend, and allowed the club to continue with the registration process.
The second transfer window closes on Tuesday and this comes as good news for Bosso followers. The club is seriously looking for a replacement for Ralph Matema, who recently moved to South African football giants Orlando Pirates.
The Bulawayo giants already have former Douglas Warriors forward Admire Dzukamanja, who gave a good account of himself last week in the 0-0 draw with Black Rhinos.
Ernest Sibanda, Highlanders’ chairman, confirmed the news.
“It’s true, Sautso has said he wants to go back to the game. He wants to relaunch his career and has said he is giving us first preference. He is our former player and we would love to have him back as we wage another onslaught on the championship and we are hopeful that he will click once more and thrill our fans,” said Sibanda.
The Bosso chairman said there would be no favours for the former goal-scoring hero, as he would have to contend with competition from within the club.
“He will have to prove himself like any other player. Competition is healthy and can only benefit Highlanders in winning the championship,” said Sibanda.
