He is looking for a club, which can offer him a better deal in South Africa. If that fails he is eager to re-join the Zimbabwean Premiership. “I won’t mind going back at home in the CBZ Premiership but my main aim is to play abroad as I am a talented player,” he told yours truly. The former Zimbabwe U-23 international, Chapungu and Railstars midfield maestro, said he had been dealing with a knee injury, which nearly forced him to quit the game.

“I have gone through a lot, which is painful. I still have a lot to offer to my country and soccer.” Moyo, while waiting to re-join soccer, is currently determined to make a living through his new found career in computers Moyo also sent his sincere condolences to the family and friends of his close friend and former teammate, Sifiso Nketha, who recently passed away in Swaziland.

“i am very shocked and saddened by Nketha’s untimely departure. We have been in contact since he was staying here in South Africa. He went to Swaziland after he landed a deal there, he said. I therefore send my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the bereaved. May his dear soul rest in eternal peace.”

Born 26 years ago in Bulawayo, Mpumelelo has fetured for Chapungu and Railstars respectively. He rose from being a Highlanders junior to becoming the star studded uMnungwane, which were under the mentorship of the most intellectual junior coach to evolve in Zimbabwe, Benjamin Moyo. He also prominently featured for the Zimbabwean Junior national sides U-20 and 23.
