Chinese target SMEs

BULAWAYO - A group of Chinese businesspeople is in the country to scout for potential deals with local small to medium entrepreneurs (SMEs), the Zimbabwe Investment Authority chief executive Richard Mbaiwa, said yesterday.

He called on interested entrepreneurs to come forward and meet the Chinese who will be in the country for five days.

I am inviting all entrepreneurs to come forward and negotiate with the Chinese delegation which is looking for areas of investment in Zimbabwe.

Mbaiwa said the Chinese businessmen were interested in various business sectors including the textile industry, mining and auto assembling.
