JOHANNESBURG - Warriors goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini was among players coach Owen da Gama had a go at for not justifying their salary increases, following a Platinum Stars loss to rivals Black Leopards on Saturday.
"You improve players' salaries, and this is what you


get on match day,” snapped Da Gama after his off-form charges suffered a 0-2 loss to Leopards in a one-sided Limpopo derby, their second defeat of the season.

A Norman Smith brace condemned Amazulu to a 1-2 loss to Golden Arrows in a Kwazulu Natal derby while Jomo Cosmos beat Gauteng rivals by a similar scoreline.
Terror’ Fanteni’s double earned Wilfred Mugeyi’s Ajax Cape Town a second successive victory as they beat Benoni Premier 2-1 while countryman Ian Gorowa continued his impressive run at the Moroka Swallows helm when his ‘Birds’ earned a point on the road, away to Santos in Cape Town after a 1-1 draw.
League champions Mamelodi Sundowns’ quest to clinch the Confederations Cup suffered a setback in Cameroon when they fell by a solitary goal to Astres de Douala on Saturday. Douala won courtesy of a hotly disputed penalty. – CAJ News
