A number of influential figures, including business mogul Phillip Chiyangwa, have been angling to buy the Kiglon franchise since it was offered three months ago.
Chiyangwa, who looked the likeliest candidate to take over the club through his property company Pinnacle Holdings, has, however, not come up with a concrete proposition.
Chitunhu confirmed to this paper that the club had not yet found a buyer and that Chiyangwa, who had shown interest, was still to come forward.
The club is still up for sale. No-one has paid anything yet. It appears people do not have money but we will see what happens in the coming month, said Chitunhu.
As a company we felt that our holding company is just too small to meet the demanding requirements of the game, thus I have decided to let those with deeper pockets take over, said Chitunhu who runs a timber company.
