The country wide vaccination exercise started with children at boarding schools, their staff members and health workers. Given the resources available, we started with boarding schools since the disease could be transmitted faster among people living in confinement and in huge numbers. As more vaccination resources become available, the exercise will cover the whole nation, said a government health official.

The official said people with chronic diseases such as sugar-diabetes and high blood pressure would be given priority in vaccination against Swine-Flu. Swine Flu is characterized with a dry cough accompanied with severe headache.
