According to an order by the SRC board, some sport associations are to be deregistered for consistently failing to comply with the provisions of the Sports and Recreation Commission Act (Chapter 25:15) and Regulations (Statutory Instrument 342) with respect to submission of any or all of the following: annual reports, estimates of income and expenditure and audited financial statements.
Some of the associations named by the commission are the Zimbabwe Aerobics Sports Association, Zimbabwe Wrestling Federation, Zimbabwe National Bass Federation, Polo Association of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe National Body Building and Wrestling Association, Zimbabwe Baseball and Softball Association, Zimbabwe Association of Sports for People with Disabilities, Zimbabwe Darts Association and the Zimbabwe Juskei Association.
